In Weather Info
Hydro & Agro Informatics Institute (HAII) from Thailand operates the weather forecast based on regional climate model. They use Weather Research Forecast (WRF model) which is originally developed for research purpose while I think this could be useful for supplementary information to support forecasting and warning purpose. High resolution maps (3km x 3 km) are available only for Thailand (covering most part of Lao PDR) in 3-day advance. The 5-day forecasted rainfall distribution is available across SEA at 9km x 9km. The results show that heavy rainfall (red areas) will continue in central part of Lao until 31 Jul Please maps here: http://www.thaiwater.net/v3/wrfroms/rain_forecast_pre/tab1/image2http://www.thaiwater.net/v3/wrfroms/rain_forecast_pre/tab1/image2 -- Chusit Apirumanekul

UNOSAT is the PM for the Charter Activation Call 660, related to the floods in Laos. https://disasterscharter.org/web/guest/activations/-/article/flood-in-lao-people-s-democratic-republic-activation-578- You can find derived satellite products in the UNITAR website with the associated vector data in shp. and gdb. http://unitar.org/unosat/maps/LAO (see: FL20180723LAO) The restriction for data use is the same as for Radarsat-2. There are other radar data available without licensee restriction (Sentinel-1), here: https://scihub.copernicus.eu/ Carolina JORDA Imagery Analyst & GIS Expert, UNOSAT United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) Palais des Nations, CH-1211 Geneva 10, Switzerland T +41 22 767 4020 carolina.jorda@unitar.org / Website: [www.unitar.org/unosat]www.unitar.org/unosat
